While in Arizona I taught my Grampa how to scan and burn pictures to a disc. He was pretty excited about it and wanted to make an album of his old army photos. Tonight he sent me some pictures of him before he left for war. They were really interesting to see. It's funny to see pictures of him back when he was my age. And it's so weird that even tho the pictures were taken so long ago, he looks so much the same.
He's just such an amazing person. He's accomplished so much in his life, like literally turning a company he started out of a shed in his backyard into a huge food distribution company that now spans several states across the midwest. And throughout all his success, he's stayed the same solid person. He's never let anything change who he is, or compromise his integrity... he stayed modest and he's made so many sacrifices. And he's always been there for family. He's basically the only positive male role model I've ever had. But what you lack in quantity, you make up in quality... he's unbelievable.
I really look up to him.
