I feel like updating. No, no, don't alert the media. That's even if people still read this.
I've been working lately. Alot of people use that excuse, but I'm still gonna use it. For the last three months, I've been living what could almost be described as the typical adult life. I wake up in the morning for the typical 8 to 5 (or 12 to 8, depending on the day of course) where afterwards I proceed to Nathalie's apartment where she waits for me with dinner on the table. We eat and then put Willow to bed, only to watch movies or episodes of 24 or 6 Feet Under. On weekend, I find myself taking care of Willow and doing the typical Saturday thing, provided the guys aren't working. Strangely enough, that's about as typical a life you can get.
Me and Nathalie are looking for a house too. We applied at the Ideal Village Co-op here in Orleans (for those of you who don't know what a housing co-op is, it's a housing community where you need to be accepted as a member. Once accepted, you get a house. Membership, though, means responsibility. Every month, you need to volunteer on commitees; landscaping, maintenace, ruling, etc... The membership time is what keeps the costs down. Opposite to popular belief, it is not low income housing. The low costs DO come at a cost in the form of your time.) Anyhow, we applied, and after a lengthy application and interviewing process, we were accepted. . . .. . ... . ..... to be on the waiting list. They think that they'll finally get to us in 2007. So much for that. So me and Nathalie are going to look in Blackburn where there are townhouse complexes that are maybe 5$-100$ more expensive than the co-op, but they're not co-ops. Blackburn is cheap, but still accessible. Here's hoping. And don't worry, dear reader, chances are, you're invited to the house warming party.
I've been finding myself without games to play. Aside from recently finishing Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and recently getting 24: The Game, I've found myself writing more. I finished a chapter in Ultimate Story and starting my third and final short story currently named; KLIQ: Untitled. I have yet to find a suitable name for it. One that marks the finality of it, but also with an element of rebirth. Any suggestions?
Well, that pretty much sums up what I've been up to. The job is fine, as always. Everyone around me is fine too. No break downs... well, not that I know of yet. So life is about as typical as it can get. I'll see you down the road; hopefully, I'll have more exciting things to say by then. . . Later!
MartMan, out.
