(no subject)
Well, so i havent updated in a while. I have been pretty busy and whatnot, and in the month that has come since i updated last, alot of stuff has happened. School started, classes are cool, new books, including the English class "Bible'. My english teacher, Ms. parker, said that it would be to our benefit to handle the book as so that it doesnt get a scuff....lol bc it is so insanely huge and expensive. But i mean it is only 3000 pgs, light reading, right?
We have also had a hurricane recently, if you didnt already notice. Here at my house, we have had no damage, other than leaves and twigs upsetting the atmosphere of cleanliness outside. Many people in our neighborhoods got really bad damages though, and there were about 20 trees on houses just in our neighborhood. Luckily for us though, the 4 trees that we were so worried about did not even get close to falling on our house, including the 150' talll pine. Our power went off at like 6:30 AM monday morning and came on in the middle of that night sometime. So we didnt have to go without a/c for too long lol.
My birthday was two days after the hurricane ended and was gone, on wednesday august 31. I am sixteen now. Exciting huh? I found out that the best time to go to a Dmv is two days after a hurricane, bc that is the least of ppls worries. I went to the one in port allen and got through in like 20 minutes. The driving instructor suddenly told me during my road skills test to slam on the brakes, which i did, and then she gets pissed at me be "the seatbelt hurt my neck". She took off three points for me doing what she told me to do?!!?! I got a 97%
I've bbeen driving to school these past days, ever since we went back to school after the 'cane. School has been pretty cool, except for the insane english AP test the other day. I have had minimal homework and even the psat class the other night wasnt that bad. I can only really think of one word to conclude this entry with....sweet.
