Well, today is not only the day when I had a job interview (it went well, will hear from them later in the week), it is also International Women's day and Fat Tuesday. Of those two I have always liked Fat Tuesday more. Why? Because you get to eat semlor, which is a bun with almond paste and whipped cream. I'm making them later tonight.

But back to Women's day. Here in Sweden, for as long as I've been aware, it's been more of a pseudo holiday. Like, the kind of day where a man brings home flowers for his wife. I know there have been some awesome manifestations, but on the whole it is rather watered down. Kind of like I feel feminism is, some days. But as long as a day like this is needed the fight will continue, even if I'm not well enough to fight at the moment. My sisters are, so that's good.
