My podbang is finished, praise the lord!
OMFG!!! I am finally done with my podbang, and I have sent it in. Huge weight off my shoulders. Not that it wasn't fun, it was just a bit more than I expected.
So, things I have learned while making it:
1. It takes more time than I think to record something like that
2. Audacity does not have all the features I want. I should invest in protools or something.
3. The compressor is your friend (so I knew that before, but not how much)
4. I shouldn't work so hard on making my accent go away, since the only thing that happens is that my throat hurts, and everything sound worse. Besides, accents are sexy.
5. I like the sound of my own voice. Actually, I get turned on by the sound of my own voice, well, when reading sex scenes, anyway.
6. Recordning stuff is fun! Ok, so I knew that before too.
I'm so tired now, I want to go to sleep.
