After posting the winner of my little game I decided since I deprived you all from picking PxJ for that challenge of sorts, that it was only fair to make one where the couple you can choose is Prowl x Jazz

The first thing that came straight into my mind while listening to the song was your Shattered Glass verse. I can see, even though Jazz is loyal to Optimus, he'd be watching Prowl from afar in the shadows, waiting and biding his time before confronting him.

Hmm, if Prowl and Jazz, then it reminds me of their lives (or how they supposedly lived) before the war. 1st verse: Prowl - an officer serving the law, hoping for a better tomorrow no matter how hard it is, the fight with crime. Second verse: Jazz, a peaceful musician not wanting to have to do anything with the war for he despises it, but the same time, he feels the need to do something, and not let his home planet go down in the flames.

Lately, I've been walking, walking in circles
Watching, waiting for something
Feel me, touch me, heal me
Come take me higher --> And this is where they meet, drawing strength from each other.

Perhaps, the two of them standing with lowered weapons, holding hands /touching each other, staring ahead defiantly while flames reflect off from theirbodies? Or they walk amond flames.

I don't why, considering how they are in his universe don't fit the lyrics nesscarily.

I see Jazz perched on the edge of a building, his fingers finely tugging his instrument to the beat of the song, though only he can hear it. He's watching Prowl from afar, all his yearning and love no longer behind a wall in his distance solitude for the moment in time as he plays.

Prowl sitting in his garden, starting into nothingness, twirling an item given to him by Jazz; He is confused, searching deep within himself, unaware the very thing on his mind watches him from afar with the same yearning and emotions.

Okay, I see this in the Shattered Glass 'verse, with Prowl sitting alone and struggling over his identity as a Decepticon and the war ("They say, that I must learn to kill before I can feel safe/But I, I'd rather kill myself than turn into their slave"), which is in conflict with his growing love for Jazz. I could see him trying to understand how he could love such a "sparkless killer", especially an enemy, while still being loyal to his fraction.

Taking my best shot- Early in the war, a short while after the two meet, with Prowl comforting Jazz after a spying/infiltration/what have you mission goes wrong and Jazz had to kill several mechs to get out. Jazz getting the shakes, zoning out, and being exceptionally clingy and Prowl being concerned and awkward and a little freaked out himself. I'm rather picturing Jazz clinging to Prowl after sneaking into his quarters, because he's not really thinking straight. Visually, I'm thinking a lot of shadows and dark blues, with Prowl set a little brighter in color then rest of the image. Bonus points for energon splatter on Jazz.
