I love it! Barricade watching with pride as Prowl grows up, regardless of the fact that he's an Autobot. You've captured the emotions wonderfully!

Thank you! Barricade is making me work extra hard to try and get his point of view 'right', granted I am basing him in the Game version of Barricade since that's the one that goes around calling Starscream and Megatron 'My Lord'. XD

Poor Barricade. I wonder if any of the Autobots knew he was there. Or if any Decepticons knew. Wonder how he'd explain himself.

I love the mention of the 'Climbing the Ironhide Mountain' game. And how Prowl seemed to like Ironhide better.

... by the way, sorry for giving you more bunnies. Kind of. Well, not really because you are an amazing writer.

Well, I know for sure -one- did know he was there. And no, it wasn't Prowl. You'll find out in the next part.

As for Decepticons, he could easily explain he was just doing his job, spying on the Autobots and identifying new 'recruits' that would become enemies.

Ah yes, Prowl saw Ironhide and his little baby processors began to associate him with the Black mech that was raising him until that point. So in his baby mind, Prowl thought Ironhide was Barricade.

XD Ohhh it's alright. It just means it'll take a bit longer for everything to be written, but I love adopting plot bunnies. XD;;

The mix of pride and little disapproval is great in this.

Thank you! Yeaah, I don't think Barricade would be exactly happy about his child being raised as an Autobot, but would still be proud to see him stand out among his peers.

**huggles Prowl and 'Cade** I love how you're writing this, dear. Barricade can't raise Prowl as his own, but at least he...okay with him being raised an Autobot. I just love it!

Thank you for reading and I'm glad you're liking it! Barricade has been quite the challenge on this one, because it's a little hard to keep him in character -somewhat- in this setting. But I imagined Barricade is at least content enough knowing his offspring is growing strong, even if in the opposite faction.

I agree. The growing strong bit is important, but so is the fact that Prowl is making the choice as to where he goes, even if it is heavily influenced by the Autobots raising him.
