Little things to keep the writing muscles working.

Title: Footloose.
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Crackstastic fluffiness maybe?
Pairings: Implied Inferno x Red Alert, Prowl x Jazz.
Characters: Prowl, Jazz, Red Alert, Inferno. Mention of Blaster.
Summary: Red Alert finds something he does like about Earth Culture. Jazz is only too happy to help him fully enjoy that something.
Notes: Written to cheer myself up, and dedicated to __wilderness__ because I suspect she'll get a giggle out of it. It's just a short little drabble.

Inferno covered his mouth with his fingers, trying to stifle a chuckle as he watched a pair of mechs sporting stubby horns on their helmets skipping around the recreation room. Blaster was happily playing a melody that had been on repeat for quite some time now.

Prowl rested his head on the back of his hand, watching his bonded leading Red Alert around, teaching him to dance to a popular song Red Alert happened to find of his liking.

The Lamborghini had been extremely reluctant to let the Porsche teach him to dance, but Prowl knew by experience that once Jazz set his mind on something, especially something involving one of his passions, there was no way he wouldn't get his way.

Inferno continued to watch Jazz teaching Red Alert to dance, the grin he was sporting behind his fingers grew wider and wider as Red Alert's movements grew more confident, even if they were still fairly timid. The security director was actually smiling, though he probably hadn't realized it yet.

Jazz danced his way to the table where Inferno and Prowl were sitting and took Inferno's hand, dragging him over to where Red Alert was still dancing. The fire engine caught up immediately and took Red Alert's hand, dancing by his side as well as his bulkier frame allowed him. Red Alert looked up to him and his smile grew wider, his movements grew bolder and more confident.

Prowl ignored the finger poking the tip of his chevron as he and his mate watched Inferno and Red Alert dance around the room to the beat of 'Foot Loose'. Jazz merely grinned, watching Prowl tapping a finger to the table's surface, matching the beat of the melody as well. Maybe he couldn't get Prowl to dance with him in the recreation room just yet, but he wasn't going to give up any time soon. In the interim, Jazz watched Inferno and Red Alert having a merry time dancing together to the cheery tune.

The ficclet was inspired by this quick, dirty doodle I'll clean up later, after my Red alert muse decided he liked Kenny Loggins' "Footloose.".
