I was going to write about the New Year's eve party I had (It was fun) and the nice Christmas I had with my man (very relaxing), but I am too busy trying to get my head out of my ass and my senses out of vacation mode so instead, I give you my yearly meme:
First sentence of first post of every month of 2010
January
For the first time in a frightening amount of years, I did not spend new year's eve at the same party with the same people that I always do.
February
Yup, this was how long my relaxed vacation mode lasted.
March
I have several tons of good tips on how to avoid writer's block, and I use them frequently.
April
Writing from the other side of the world from everyone else has actually turned out to be a pretty good idea.
May
It's the international worker's day today.
June
I'm at Montreal airport grabbing some lunch before my plane takes off.
July
My thesis is available on the web for anyone to download and read. Hope you enjoy!
August
There are many things that annoy me with other people at the gym (I'm sure this is no big surprise to anyone, as I get annoyed by a great many things).
September
I am making my training filter now.
October
I've been eating healthy and working out (a lot) this past month and now it was finally time to assess my progress.
November
Alice Cooper's song "It's the Little Things" taught me that it's the everyday slights that drive you crazy. What it didn't teach me was that the little things also keep you sane.
December
I've gotten excellent advice on my novel.
Conclusion: Last year was very productive, but my blog suffered from it. This year, I'll try to post more interesting stuff. Have a good one!
