So that's my 18th birthday gone =( But it's been such an awesome day. Thank you so so much to the many people who rang and sent a gazillion smses to wish me happy birthday! They brought plenty of smiles to my face =D But the hugest highlight would have been the concert....

I haven't really paid attention to any news about Delta Goodrem lately, but the concert has just ignited my admiration for her. I can't believe how awesome it was! I met up with Colin to buy food and Soothers (hehe) for the concert, went and ate dinner and then Sam picked us up. When we got there, I bought the souvenir book (a rip for $25 but it looks so beautiful!) and went to our seats which turned out to be really good (15th row from the front) for the price we paid. Our seats cost $99 but the row in front cost $199, although they get some merchandise but not worth the extra $100. I met Nancy who gave me a framed photo of me and Delta which she tried to get signed but didn't get the chance (aww..) and Joey who gave me his DG cushion hehe. I had high expectations of the concert and they totally surpassed 'em! She was just so amazing, she can sing live (her opening act was SHIT, half an hour of CRAP. He looks cute, his voice is alright but then he starts dancing and jumping and goes off on his own tangent it totally ruins it) and she used the stage really really well. Her costumes were also all so hot! She just looked amazing and beautiful, can't describe it in words =P Anyways our concert was the one filmed for her DVD (to be released in Christmas. I know what I want now!) so I can't wait to re-watch it over and over again =P She sang for 2 hours straight (no intermission) and sang about 20-something songs including covers of "I Feel The Earth Move" and Jet's song "Are You Gonna Be My Girl [Boy]". I have no idea how she managed to pull that off and make it sound so good! And Brian McFadden joined her for Almost Here and his song from Westlife "Flying Without Wings". Simply amazing. So it was a bloody fantastic way to spend my 18th birthday, although I haven't done anything that requires me to be 18 e.g. buy a drink etc Maybe tomorrow

So trials start on Friday and I've decided to get rid of my computer and mobile phone for the next 3 weeks. Only small breaks allowed on this thing =P So yeah, hiatus for 3 weeks guys. Oh and if you're coming to my party, sms me to let me know whether you are coming and if we need to wait for you at Circular Quay on the grassy area. It's either meet at Circular Quay at 6pm or make your own way there and meet at 6:30 =D It's gonna be so much fun and a good way of celebrating the end of trials! Hope to see you guys there... Take care and good luck to all my fellow Yr 12-ers!
