Well I have lost about 36lbs. since starting this dient (4) weeks now. I have been treadmilling it up about 2hrs a day and going into the pool for about an hour as well. The hardest part was the portion control but I think I have it under control now. I have some cravings from time to time and I do indulge them but I have been able to do that as long as I am responsible about what I eat. Example, yesterday I really had a need for some chocolate chip cookies, so I got this hershey kiss shaped chocolate chip cookies 8grams of sugar per 22 pieces, I had about a handful (10) and was good. So progress.
They started me on a thyroid medication because my thyroid was not producing enough chemical, the doctor thinks this will also help me lose another 50lbs or so. My goal is 150 by the end of the year so I am off to a good start anyway.
What am I listening to these days ?
Thousand Foot Krutch : Calling. OK they are a christain band but they have some kick ass music.
Movies - Pan's Labyrinth, The Hitcher (very good remake), Pretty Persuasion.
TV - Lost, Jericho (cancelled), Bones, The Shield, The Riches, and waiting patiently for the return of NIP TUCK !
Reading - Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk, its very good, very disturbing as well.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Season 8 - The Comic.
I do have a rant boiling up inside me but it will be a couple days until I get things under control and able to write it all out.
