for those who can't read chinese, the words there are "xi, nu, ai, le" which mean happiness, anger, sadness, and joy respectively.

yes and please ignore "le". it's all my retarded emoticons.

basically "xi" and "le" are about the same, like happiness and joy. but i think that "xi" is a feeling influenced by the surroundings whereas "le" comes from within the person himself, choosing to be contented whatever happens to him
