Connectivity
I recently decided to use Facebook, and have found a friend who I have not seen or heard from or thought about much since the late 1960's. And I found her by seeing if I could track some old friends down on fb. It worked! The good news is she seems as upbeat and positive as she was when I first knew her (briefly) when she was about 12 or 13. If truth be known, she was my first crush!
This kind of connectivity is so nice, and the above situation is probably unique to this point in history. Prior to this, it was pretty easy to lose track of people unless they were really close by or were close to you personally, and you made an effort to keep in touch with them. In the future, connectivity will become even easier in this electronic village of ours, and no one will be out of touch unless they want to be.
But for now, I am happy to have found my old friend, and being connected!
