Hanging Out with the Bunny
The brown bunny is back! (Or at least, a close cousin! ;) But the bunny seemed to recognize me when I first saw him a few weeks ago, after the grass on the lawn had come back out.
This evening he was in the backyard, so I went out back and just sat on the back steps, hanging out. He was about 25-30 feet away, and for some reason I sensed he enjoyed the company, too! ;) He stayed in one place, jaw muscles working madly while he sat still, a large plantain leaf or some grass disappearing quickly into his chewing mouth!
When I stood up to go back in and said "Have a good evening!", he stopped his chewing, sat up, and looked sad to see me go! :)
