Notes on Moving
Bus ticket to Rapid City, South Dakota from Indianapolis, Indiana on July 10, 2007 (14-day advance purchase) = $54.00 (2 transfers)
2 checked bags allowed not exceeding 50 lbs each
2 carry-on bags allowed (must fit under seat or overhead)
If I move, I can't do Drama Camp. I told Ruby I could. I feel horrible for backing out, but I need to move. I need to get out of Terre Haute. If I don't "move" and get a job teaching in Indiana, I won't bankroll money if I have living expenses.
I wish there were an easy way to do this. Even if I take a bus, I'll have to have Mom ship my books and clothes and such. I don't feel comfortable checking things on a bus, especially if I have to transfer twice.
And then there is Livvy. I'm not leaving my dog behind. $54 to bus me, and $80 to fly her out to Rapid.
Maybe if Jake moves me out, I can take a bus back so I can help with Drama Camp. But agah. From Rapid to Indy round trip is $128. Much better than the $525 plane ticket I looked up earlier, but still.
I need to talk to Jacob. Not IM. TALK. I hate that his phone is broken.
