Holy smokes. What a day.

Today we had to go to school to talk to the guidance to get the subject of the subject and courses settled and get our timetable. Did so, and I finally decided to choose to take the MC course (Two-year-long course for University) since I have the qualifications necessary for it. After doing so we spend something like three ( Read more... )

Oh so you did choose the MC course in the end. :)

I've realised (through a previous post of yours) that I had almost the same subjects as yours. Except that I had English at intermediate and History at advanced level (biggest mistake in my life), and I had French instead of Philosophy. xP

The times of the day in your school look good! I was in Junior College and I had several lessons starting at 8am and others from 4-5pm, very tiring! And no common break in the middle of the day. :(

Indeed I have, though with much fear and anxiety.
SOK scares the bejesus out of me.

Yes, They're not so bad, busy as it is, even more so now that I've added the SOK lessons. Oh, I might have not mentioned it, but I'm at Higher, Naxxar. So many people applied this year, the administration was in great shock and had to postpone the start of the school year to next Monday! This amused me.

Finishing school at around 6 wouldn't be nice, at all.

SOK sucks :( I enjoyed lessons about art and aesthetics but I find it useless.
When I did the exam I got an F and I was so shocked. They used to say that if you go out of point in just one (of 4) essays, you automatically get an F. I don't know if it was true but I always thought there was something fishy...
Because I did not increase my study time for the resit. I did everything the same and got a.... C! By magic. :) And there were lots of brilliant students who were doing the SOK resit with me.

Yes, thought you were attening Higher. During my free hours (and sometimes I skipped lessons) I used to take a bus from Msida to Naxxar and reach my friend there. She always let me in on the school grounds and they never checked whether I was a student or not, unlike in JC where no one enters without the student tag. I was a happy criminal lol. :D
Oh, once I even went in a Sociology class with said friend, the teacher was awesome and he even involved me in the lesson. xD

Fun days... *nostalgic sigh*

Oh Dear. That is worrying, to say the least.

Yes, This year they said they will be keep a closer eye on who is allowed on the grounds, but I highly doubt it.

Student Tag?! XD That made me giggle.

I doubt that I will ever look back at these days and be nostalgic about it all.

Also, do you have MSN or AIM?

Nah, there's no need to worry (and you're just starting, take it easy!). That was just one of many rumours going around at that time (i.e. that they tried to decrease uni entrants but trying to fail some). It was indeed amusing that I passed SOK with a C after an initial fail, without much effort from my part ( ... )
