Two days away from the internet and I go absolutely ballistic (not in a very apparent way, of course, only on the inside). I need to get a life, now.
This morning I received the results to my Physics and Math exams, and guess what?!
I PASSED FROM MATH
I PASSED FROM MATH
I PASSED FROM MATH
(Only just, but I'm quite pleased with myself)
Unfortunately, I did not pass from physics and shall be re-doing the exam next year. I couldn't possibly read the resuly when I got the sms on my mobile, so I passed it to my sister, and asked her to see first, after she told me that I got 5 in Maths and burst into tears. At last, I'm finished with math.
Not having had internet for around two days (having used up the monthly 25G quite early on) I devoted myself to the viewing of some classic movies and the reading of Jane Eyre. Last week I rented Casablanca, I know, it is a cliche classic movie, but that's what met my eye. I enjoyed it greatly, and am looking forward to watching more movies of the sort, next on my list is The Maltese Falcon, which also stars Humphrey Bogart, and I'm quite curious what links to Malta it has.
Yesterday we got Breakfast at Tiffany's and Clockwork Orange, I had watched the latter on Italian TV late at night years ago, so me and my sister watched it together, and I felt rather embarassed/awkward, it being quite genially explicit at some instincts. I am the type of person that wouldn't rent a movie to watch with a friend if I knew it had something that would make me feel uncomfortable, I know its silly of me, but I really can't help it. Also enjoyed Breakfast at Tiffany's greatly, which is odd, since I seldom like or attempt to watch love stories, but I thouroughly enjoyed this one, and it goes without saying that I found Audrey Hepburn delightful in all aspects.
Any movie suggestions would be very welcome indeed. : )
