YES... Marie Antoinette was our main inspiration for starting the Rococo Picnic tradition:
There are plenty of candy-colored wigs on the east coast too (>n>;;; haha), just not at an event like this :D
The Otakon post is still in the works because I've been preparing for a marathon weekend in New York, but when I get back I'll have it up in a flash! I always post links to my new livejournal posts on facebook if that helps? Usually people check fb more than lj. ::sigh:: It's just the way things are nowadays...
