I just made a
new blog post about an indies lolita brand called Dolce Piu Amabile! I wish there were more information available, but for now we can all drool over the designs *o*
Also, for those of you who don't already know, I recently joined Poupeegirl over the holidays. XD While I was looking over my flickr wardrobe one day, I decided that using stock photos didn't appeal to me anymore. I've spent years collecting stock photos (and become alarmingly good at it) so deciding to get rid of them all was difficult at first, but now I feel really happy with my decision. It's a nice routine to snap photos of a couple of pieces every morning and then upload them to flickr and poupeegirl. :3 I don't think I'll be done anytime soon, though. >m<;; My room is a disaster area with clothes hanging up everywhere! haha
So if any of you are interested in seeing my poupeegirl profile, here you go:
my profile Now that I've been part of it a couple of weeks, I have to say this game is awesome. People have been nice so far @n@ I don't know if I was expecting a bunch of snarling banshees or what, but I can't emphasize enough how sweet the people I've met are, especially in
poupee_girl. I love participating in the daily dress-ups!
I'm not going to go crazy and bankrupt myself on jewels or anything, since I've found it's pretty easy to make coordinates without resorting to using real money. I like dressing up my poupee in styles like morigirl and dolly kei! There are a surprising number of cute things available in the poupee market (lots of ethnic-looking/Tyrolean things).
If anyone hasn't joined yet but wants to, let me send you an invitation! I promise you'll never have free time again ♥
In other news, Koda, Kara and I did GOODWILLATHON II and it was a rousing success! I think we found even more things this time than the last time we went. @n@ I found a few pieces in particular that I'm really happy with, so I'm going to make a blog post about them soon!
We stopped for lunch at the Pop Shop in Collingswood again and I had an amazing french toast concoction... three pieces of french toast with cheese and canadian bacon. @m@
I couldn't even finish half of it and yet I don't think I've ever been so full in my life! So delicious ♥
After lunch, we went to the Painted Cottage again, that charming shabby chic-style shop with furniture and antiques:
The upstairs is has so many beautiful things... I could have spent all day up there!
My dream bedroom *o*
Someday I'm just going to save up a tax return and blow it all at that place haha >n>;;
