I love this fic so much! I love John's tenderness and love for Martha, and his ability to be open to more (esp to be open to Jack and now Ten, despite how much Ten's hurt Martha in the past). John is the *perfect* man for Martha, not that disappearing geezer we didn't have on the telly!!

I'm so glad that you liked it -- you know how terribly nervous I've been about it (and I think I might die before I get it all posted -- LOL!).

I am so happy that Martha has John for an anchor in her life and that he can help her navigate things with both Ten and people like Jack. I think he really supports her and loves her and I think that is just what she needs right now.

Yes, I think the Doctor loves her as well, but sometimes people need that verbal validation as well, no matter how strong they are. Sadly, the Doctor is always going to be a challenge in that way, but I like that they are getting on the same page with things.

P.S. On a completely shallow note, I added this super-hawt icon I'm using to the martha_dr_john icons -- I just think John looks so deliciously naughty in this pic! PHWROAR!

I just love that scene it's from when he and Fay are playing pool. He just looks like he wants to hump Fay's leg and, oh my goodness, I would pay to have him look at me that way!

I guess as good of a guy as I think John is, I think he is just as naughty. Not that you couldn't tell in my fanfic! I was joking with justben tonight that it occurs to me that there is a sex scene in each of the three parts of this story -- I guess that makes up for the last one I wrote that had no sex (well, aside from John remembering sex from that morning at the beginning) - LOL!
