(no subject)
I havent updated in forever...
Theres not a whole lot going on. Ive spent a decent amount of time and running around trying to get all my paperwork in to apply for my license and to take my test. Ive also spent quite a good bit of time and running around trying to finish up christmas shopping.
Other than that ive been sleeping in all morning and going out pretty much every night. I flop into that lifestyle so easily and while i know i gets boring pretty fast...it hasnt yet and ive had a lot of fun this week.
I cant figure out what to do for new years. A bunch of Elizabeths old Boston housemates are coming down and will probably be at option #1: Party at James' house in East Atlanta. I would like to meet Elizabeths friends but thats my only real draw to this option. I recently got a mass email from Helen in Ann Arbor who will be intown and trying to put something together. We will call this option #2. I dont really know what this option includes but it is most likely to include the most people that I know and be the most like new years i have had in the past...which have been hit or miss. Option #3 is a party with the Paidia people in north georgia. My first instinct was to rule this out right away. It requires driving an hour and a half, way up in some mountains and also includes a very distinct possibility that I will feel awkward and like i dont belong. If this happens, being so far out of the city...i have no out. On the other hand, I know and like enough people that I dont think it I will be too uncomfortable. It also feels like my presence is genuinely wanted (not just politely requested) which decreases the chances of me feeling awkward and out of place.
I guess i still have a week or so to figure it out. Input anyone?
