(no subject)
I should be asleep...it is past my work-night bed time.
Tonight was trivia...we lost horribly but didnt really mind cause we were drinking free beer from last weeks winnings. Between Stephen and James at least $7 was put into the "trailer park" (from the makers fo homeys) machine. I dont think I have laughed so hard in quite a while but the absurdity of my "adult" friends playing with Keg Kenny, Catfish Clem, DooDoo Dan, Combat Carl etc was just to much for me to handle.
Afterwords Sarah insisted that I go with her to Krispie Kreme to get a fresh donut. No one in their right mind can turn down an offer like that. We go in, walk up to the counter and the lady working there tells us they are closed. We must have looked confused because the lights were on, the door was unlocked and the conveyor belt was running.....so she tells us that the drive thru is open. Mind you that the woman who is at the counter talking to us is the same lady who runs the drive thru. We look at each other like "Okkkkkkay" and go get in the car to drive around to the drive thru. We pull up to order (from the same woman) who informs us that there are no fresh donuts at this time. The "fresh now" light was on...and the conveyor belt was running...but no fresh donuts. We left donutless, confused, and fairly amused at the strangeness of the encounter.
oh...and the interview today went well. I have not heard anything yet but i feel pretty good about how it went down :)
