Подобные списки составлялись в ЖЖ неоднократно: см. коллекции avmalgin'а и _dmt_. Наша сборка отличается от них (да и любых других), конечно же, лютой субъективностью: это не перечень greatest hits, а то, с чем связаны особые моменты в жизни, что "зацепилось в памяти", что мы рекомендуем послушать. Дух 80-х, zeitgeist, как их, 80-е, запомнил/представляет себе martellus. (Поэтому, например, вещей с альбома "Coda" Led Zeppelin здесь нет, а Kingdom Come - есть.) Что-то выдержало проверку временем, что-то выглядит сейчас довольно комично, иногда - примитивно, а что-то кажется (да и является) побочным продуктом переработки, откровенным шлаком.
При составлении подборки мы ограничились композициями, выпущенными на альбомах или синглах в восьмидесятые годы. (Бывало так, что запись, вышедшая в одно десятилетие, "выстреливала" в другое.) Если вы вдруг обнаружите, что что-то потерялось в пути, незаслуженно забыто и, на ваш взгляд, достойно упоминания - комментируйте. Иногда в ворохе гипер-ссылок про слона-то и забудешь.
Порядок песен отражает предпочтения в момент нажатия кнопки "Сохранить запись".
В списке присутствуют ссылки на:
- клипы официальные;
- аудио-трэки (если видео к композиции не было снято или его не удалось найти/не удалось найти в приличном качестве);
- неофициальные, концертные, TV, fan-made видео.
