Flowers are beautiful plants of all colors, with petals of silk and a wonderful aroma.

Ooooh! Nell wants to see! Nell wants to go outthide and see the flowers!

Where are you? I'll come get you, and then we can go pick flowers~!

Um... [Sounds of toddling.] Nell's in building two, room fifteen!

[Aaaaand she's on her way! Oh, what a wonderful day it is! The sun is so warm, the sky is so blue. It's a bluer blue than she'd seen in a long time! Oh, flowers, let's smell them. In a much more roundabout way than she'd have preferred, were she not under the effects of the event... She's knocking softly on Nell's door.]

[The door opens, and out toddles a small child with a skull on her head. Despite the icons, she's actually wearing a pink dress. Nell would ordinarily at least talk to Ichigo before doing something like this, but right now she's way too busy wondering what flowers are like.]

Hi! Are we going to go pick flowers now, Miss... um...

Ah! Nell forgot to ask your name!

Oh, pardon my lack of manners. My name is Martel, and yes, we're going to go pick flowers.

Yay! Nice to meet Martel! [Beaming, she shuts the door behind her and steps up beside Martel, waiting for her to lead the way out.]

[martelandmany]

Pleasure to meet you too. [And now they're off. She's leading the way to the patch of flowers out behind her house, where her backyard meets the woods. They aren't there yet, though, unless you want to timeskip?]

[Nah, we can play at least some of this out. As soon as they get outside, Nell looks up at the trees, and she keeps glancing up at them as she toddles along after Martel. She hardly even seems to notice when she wonders out loud:] How do trees get tho big?

Years and years of food from the ground give them the strength to grow. They're tall because the sun feels good on their leaves, so they try to get as close to it as they can.

Food from the ground? [She looks down at the ground, which has the side effect of her almost tripping over her own feet. She manages to avoid falling (for now) though.]

[Martel's hand reaches out, almost ready to catch the near-tumbling Nell, but Nell seems to catch herself.]

Not the same sorts of food we eat. Minerals and such. Plus, water.
