...It's been quite a while since I've picked flowers.

[If you want to run into her... You'll find her either strolling through the forest in search of flowers or crouching down picking bouquets of early-early-blooming flowers. Like, the late-winter variety.]

[Peony spots her and gives her a cheerful wave.]

[She spots him and waves back, a flower still in her waving hand. She glances at it a moment, then offers the flower out to Peony.]

However, I'm the one with the flowers to offer.

You're right. Though I must confess it's a bit strange, considering that it's the middle of winter.

Some flowers only bloom in the last half of winter. They're not nearly as common, but no less beautiful.

I suppose it's a welcome change from your previous...profession. [Yes, he saw.]

[An awkward/embarrassed chuckle, and she's glancing back down to pick the flowers.]

[She shouldn't be embarrassed. It was amusing.]

How are you? It's been a long time since we've last talked.

I've gotten that from a few people as of late. It seems I need to do a bit better on the social front, don't I?

I suppose the need for some alone-time once in a while is understandable.

It's not as if I did it on purpose.

Of course not. No one can stay away from me on purpose.
