Please help!!!
Hi Everyone!!! In case some of you didn't know, I am going to be participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in a couple of weeks. I will walk a total of 39.2 miles over two days in Chicago, but I am in need of some help! To be honest, I always hated fundraising in school, because I didn't like having people "pay"/"overpay" for things that they didn't necessarily need. When I worked at Aeropostale I also hated "selling" people on our promotions if I didn't think they were a good deal (and to be honest, I wouldn't even bother telling them...) hahaha HOWEVER, I think that this fundraiser is really worth it, as we all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer, or if not (thank goodness), we all have mothers/sisters/aunts/(even men!) who can be affected by this cancer, so we need to find a cure.
I totally don't mean to make this sound like a "sales" pitch, because I don't want it to be, but I just want to explain myself...haha
In order to walk I have to raise $1800, and I am almost there. However, I still need a little help. $1800 is a lot of money to raise, especially during these times, but I can guarentee that it is all going toward a great cause. I am here to ask you guys for your help and support. ANY amount (and I truly mean that) will help me out. If you can only donate $5, I completely understand, and every bit will be appreciated. If you know of anyone else who would like to support this cause too, please feel free to pass on my link.
