about to scream BWAH
today was really draining. a lot of things that i have been putting off have just presented themselves, and i realize i have to just get them over with, but i am trying hard to find motivation, let alone time. i had a flute lesson (t-ahh)and i went there with this piece sort of bulshit prepared to play for new england auditions on december 4th in rutland, but i didn't have an accompainist, and it wasn't very good especially considering i have just over a week to get it ready. we realized that it was almost impossible to find an accompanist so i went on to this new piece, and i hated it, deanna's playing it, and it's really contempoary and even though it's pretty easy, its hard to feel and so even though it didn't require piano, and that meant i could auditon on the 11th in ct, it was just gonna be too hard to practice it every day for 1+ hour for the next 2 1/2 weeks. So we deicded on this massive, 6 page baroque piece, and hopefully, since im pretty good at the baroque stuff i can get through it, and luckily it doesn't have a pianist. so the lesson was just really diffilcult to get through, it was two hours long, and i realized that if i wanted to actually accomplish anything this year with my flute, i was gonna have to start working my ass off. soon.
i also had the meeting for the musical, and i know that i don't want a big part, i just want to be in it, but it was kinda made me nervous sitting with all of these people who had their monolouges and pieces ready, when i hadn't even begun to look. the auditon also means that i need to fit a few voice lessons in. bwah.
other than that and being unnecessarily yelled at by senora g'smith in class, im very excited to be 1/2 way done the week. despite her MASSIVELY MEAN comments, i can't waito see gabriele, jake and my cousins and just relax in delaware.
this weekend was really fun, emma came over and we had a really good time, laying around, watching movies, eating chocolate, making fun of chatty,--summer stahl...jordan came over and we all worked on our big project, that was EXILERATING. he also brought chicken finger and cheesecake, most notably.
