The Corrigan Brothers have earwormed me
Quite a while ago, I saw this You Tube video... and I couldn't stop humming it and/or infecting others with the earworm. I got the thing stuck in my head and wanted to have it on mp3, take it with me everywhere, add it to playlists and all that jazz. I wrote to the band, asking if it was available for purchase anywhere. They wrote back to me today, and it's available on iTunes and Amazon and as a ringtone!
I'm not sure what I like most; the absolutely sincere and me-style cheese of the video and song, the chord progression (which tends to make me start humming I bet you they won't play this song on the radio), or what. But I bet you it has to do with the (again, sincere, cheesy, and me-style) modulation/acappella/clapping around 2:50 into the video.
I also love giving money via purchase to artists I like. And the Corrigan Brothers have successfully taken up nearly 80% of my idle-humming-while-doing-other-things for nearly two months now, so they fit that category. Besides, they returned my email!!!!
