Finally...an update
Ok, so it's not really an update since everyone I know and really care about already knows what's going on with me. So, here's my rant instead. I want to go see an opera, specifically I want to go see Turnadot by Puccini but since the MN Opera isn't doing that this year, I'll settle for The Barbar of Seville. Now generally, one would go to the opera on the arm of some handsome gentleman. I am hard pressed to find any who would be willing to go to the opera with me. All the straight guys I know either won't go or if they did go, they wouldn't be paying attention to the actual opera, if you get my meaning. It's a shame really, any of the guys who actually likes opera are usually all gay and more interested in the tenor on stage than the girl sitting next to them. Sigh. My sister suggests that I find a nice Italian to take me so she can tell him to not actually translate the words but make stuff up instead. Oh well, I'll get there someday and hopefully with a straight guy who likes me enough to suffer through an opera.
