Never again...

I played Wii baseball for the first time on Friday night.  KJ kept taking me deep the little sneak. :-) It was really fun!  Yeah it wasn't real but it was fun actually pretending to play.  I got into the pitching and KJ was a little nervous cause I was right behind her to face the TV and she commented that she could feel the wind on her face as my arm passed right by her.  Even Laura got to pitch, she couldn't see well enough to hit but she struck me out a couple of times.  Ok, so on to my subject title.  I played Wii baseball and Wii homerun derby, I played for like an hour and a half without streching.  I am sore from my abs all the way down my left thigh.  I am also sore from the inside of my arm all the way to my elbow.  I hadn't played anything even remotely close to baseball since I was eight years old.  Suprisingly my shoulder doesn't hurt at all and I was "throwing" hard.  I was too into it, I will admit.  I mean you could shake the control even a little and the thing would pitch for you, it was a little silly but still fun.  So, lesson learned;  You are FAR from being a real ball player, you need to strech before you play Wii baseball which is both bogus and sad and you need to leave the playing to the real pros cause you played for 20 mins and you were really tired.  You wash out. :-)  P.S. I'm gonna leave the sidearms to my hero Pat Neshek!

Oh yeah the Twins won after the Brew Crew tied it up! WE ROCK!
