(no subject)
so what is probably the stupidest thing that can happen, and that ican do to myself during finals week and tenth week? a week that, coinciding with actor's gang rehearsals six nights a week, is already exhausting and exacting?
a. fucking up my ankle AGAIN by wearing heels at the late night show last weekend for two hours (apprently my stress fracture HASn't healed???)
b. loosing my car keys.
to a honda civic.
yep. did that today. was looking for ward to going home, taking a bath, getting away from the sardine can that is my room and my insomniac, roomate with an incredibly unhealthy lifestyle. the only side i see of her is her left side, because she's always sleeping on it...
and then, lo and behold i cannot find my keys. so i call a guy to come break into my car (thank you AAA!) and the first thing is does is look at me in a sarcastic god-you-are-an idiot way (the way tow truck drivers do) and say, "you know this is the WORST kind of car to loose your keys to right?"
like i'm not already pissed. like i don't already feel like a dumbass.
Lindsey was so cool enough to drive me to the dealership and take care of pretty much everything. thank yo uso much lindsey. You know I would do the same for you.
parents picked me up and i found a spare key! YAY!! so problem solved. i will go tomorrow and get my car, while probably setting off it's alarm. long day but good ending. and i got home, just like ...4 hours later than i expected. i'm in my bathroom preparing my jacuzzi bathtub for a warm inviting bath. to relax me. And perhaps Lindsey is right, maybe this is God's way of preventing (or fate's..) me from going home as i expected and getting into some disasterous car crash...honestly. who knows.
all i know is that i'm thankful for my friends, for the actor's gang (however not for the theater which swallowed my keys), sarcastic AAA guy and my parents.
that bath is inviting me now...
