beijing 2008 and song lyrics

I was watching the opening of the Olympics the other Friday, and I got goosebumps. My eyes were WATERING! I don't know why I always get emotional during real weird moments, but there I was. During my free time, all I do is switch channels and look for interesting games. I guess that's the natural consequence of all-access pay-per-view television. Just a while ago, I was watching one of the swimming events, when the winner (this big guy from Brazil, Cesar Cielo Filho) started crying- seriously crying. He cried in the pool and when he got his gold medal. I guess he was an underdog, and he never expected to win. While singing his national anthem, he started to choke up and wipe his tears with his giant hands. [Call me a fruitcake, but I started crying too.]

On other news, what is up with musicians and their lyrics?

Chris Brown's "Superhuman": "It's not a bird, not a plane, it's my heart and it's gone and gone away."
WOW. It's not a bird, not a plane, it's his heart, guys.

Alicia Keys' "Superwoman": "I still put on a vest with an S on my chest."
The heights people will go to just to rhyme... It's still entertaining though!

I watched the My Sassy Girl remake, and it's really funny. I expected something badly-written and corny, but I was pleasantly surprised! It's a shame only a few cinemas are still showing it. [Yes, I have the DVD of the original Korean movie at home. haha]
