Toilet training our kitty, Nietzsche. . .
Day 6. . . Nietzsche, our 7 1/2 month old kitty is following through with his toilet training. At night, we limit his access to everything but our bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. That's plenty of room for him to roam, when he needs to. Sometimes, he manages to sleep all night. I especially appreciate that. He usually visits my side of the bed at about five a.m. Today he didn't do that. He didn't get up until his Daddy got up. . . went into the bathroom and used the toilet while wackdaddy was taking his shower. So day 6 begins with some success and I am encouraged. Saturday, we will remove one of the "circles" (panels) in the training seat so that if his aim remains as it is, the "waste" will drop directly into the bowl while still having litter on the outer areas. The following week we will remove another panel, enlarging the hole even more until he gets comfortable with it.
