Since I couldn't get my doctor's appointment until tomorrow, I paid my car insurance over the phone, hung up and then the phone rang. . . my granddaughter needed to be picked up at her friends house. My daughter couldn't do it again (she was on the phone with a lawyer). I want to know why everything she does (my daughter) is more important than what I may be doing. I may be retired, but I worked to get her. And, THEY ARE HER CHILDREN. What can I say other than that? At least I'm good for something???? Sarcasm definitely in that remark. So I find out that my son is going to be at my daughters house today. She needs a haircut??? What the hell. I have to drive to Manhattan to get my hair done by him, once a month or so. He will then be going to visit his father???? I'm not going to complain, even though I want to.
On the bright side, I don't pay him anymore. My girls never did. SO THERE! When I go to Manhattan to see him. . . I pay for gas and tolls. That's more than enough of an investment considering they've not been paying for their haircuts etc. And they surely have more money than I do. I'm the one on the fixed income and they are both making six figures. Maybe low six, but six non-the-less.
