Nearly all the fanart (and an extra bonus) we've done concerning
Danny Butterman meets the Wolfman and
A Copper's Instinct.
...Holy shit.
1.
marshwiggledyke Amy Angel, circa 1975. She's managed to keep her secret up until now- ten seconds later her boyfriend, whose POV we are seeing, leaves, forever. She's rather frightened and helpless and wasn't expecting anyone home for another few hours.
It is strangely sweet to think of Nicholas as a puppy litter of one. Don't ask me why.
Kinnell has a similar, mirrored, yet totally different bringing-up, detailed
HERE by
waffleguppies , partner to my
How It Begins fic (which also has
fanart here). Seriously, go and read it, it'll almost make you feel sorry for the nasty bastard.

marshwiggledyke Nicholas cornered in the evidence room, with a pair of trousers.

marshwiggledyke You've seen this already, but I thought it ought to be archived properly.
10.
marshwiggledyke A cut scene from a sequel in hiatus, in which Alex meets a female werewolf of purebred persuasion, built rather like a wolfhound. Her parents were fond of puns, so her name is Monday Tagg. Alex is a tiny wolf, really, and as he discovers, she's more alpha than he is, without even trying.

marshwiggledyke Another Monday, but I'm not as happy with this one. She's got strange curly fur.

waffleguppies I love this drawing. Love love love it. Look at that little bit of fang, and that long slurpy tongue. Look at that Nicholas expression. In case all you nutters are pulling out your magnifying glasses, it says 'Chief' on the nametag, and he's hung the little Saint Christopher next to it for safekeeping. This was a one-off universe where Danny was also a werewolf, and it's such a very sweet little moment Erin's captured here.
It seems odd how many drawings I managed to dredge up between the both of us, although I'm certain there's probably a few more floating around in old notebooks. Anyway. Sneee.
Thanks to
random_nexus who got an advance copy, and helped catch the odd wrong word.
Thanks to
storyfan and
freudian_lisp who commented on nearly every chapter while it was being posted (and the same to the above lady, of course) and mused about the story in ways which told us that we'd managed to pull off what we were hoping for, and maybe even more.
Cheers!
