Where have I been?
Oh gosh, Thurs, I walk on campus to the blaring of the brass bands and the Cal fight song, I wish I could post sound. It's a searing sound that spreads through the body like wild fire. At first I admit the cranky broad story, the image of myself like a Warner Brothers cartoon, with the
drum beats pounding in my head, or a Hemingway character suffering through a hang over while the mariche players go off on the beach outside, but.... then I relaxed into it. Yes school is starting Monday. And it's really one hell of a song, with major history. But One last howrah until our new students converge upon my program, today i am off to Santa Cruz for yes, more theater Their shakespeare fest to see Much Ado and Playboy of the Western World. And some general reveling. Also working a lot at Calshakes, including Sunday.
