Veronica parked her car in Logan's driveway and made her way up to the front door, carrying a folder under her arm.

She knocked and hoped that Logan was awake.

Logan eventually got to the door and opened it. "I really need to hire people for this place," he grumbled.

"Hopefully you won't be stuck here too much longer," Veronica said. "Then again, I kind of like having you and Angel nearby."

"Yeah, but the commute's a bitch," Logan said. He let her in and lead her to the living room. "He's been in L.A. all week."

"Thanks, but you're not really a replacement for the boyfriend," Logan said, only stumbling over the word slightly. "He'd get all cranky if you serviced me sexually."

"Only if he didn't get to be part of it," Veronica pointed out. "Which... given that he's in LA, would be a little difficult."

She held up the file. "I did some digging for you though."

Logan flopped down on the couch and opened the file. "You hungry?" he asked, not looking up. "I was going to order Chinese."
