Veronica's bags were packed and she was ready to return to Neptune, but there was one thing she had to do first.

She knocked on Angel's office door, carrying a small gift bag.

Angel rubbed his eyes tiredly, then tried to hide it all under stoic when he saw Veronica. "Hey. What's up?"

"Cameron and I are getting ready to leave and I still had your Christmas gift," Veronica said, entering the office. "You okay?"

"I'm fine," Angel said. Because he was a moron who forgot who he was talking to.

Veronica put the gift bag down on his desk and folded her arms across her chest. "I have some oceanfront property in Arizona."
