After basketball and some food, Cameron decided to drop by Veronica's room to see how she was doing as she had seemed worried the previous night. He knocked on the door.

Veronica opened the door a crack to check the identity of the person knocking. Seeing it was Cameron, she opened the door all the way and made a gesture of invitation.

Yo, Cameron mouthed as he entered the room. He looked around for a moment, marveling for a second at the extra room before turning towards her again and giving her a questioning look.

Cameron was about to start miming again when he remembered and pulled out his cell phone.

Plopping down on the couch, Cameron typed up a reply.

Cameron sighed as he still would rather be out kicking ass or doing something at least. Shaking ihs head, he started typing again.

how's Archie? still tiny?

Veronica nodded and pointed to the wooden ship on the table.

you know how they say bad things happen in threes? i'm kind of afraid of what the third bad thing might be.

Cameron gave her a stern as to say that he didn't want her to start thinking like that.

Good, he mouthed and smiled back. Leaning forward he waved at Archie. Then grinning he typed a message;

you know, he might actually be enjoying being back on a ship?

That actually wasn't a happy thought as far as Veronica was concerned because if Archie really missed being on a ship, he might leave.

But she managed to keep her expression neutral as she typed a reply:

that's possible. i'm afraid to put it in water though. i'd hate to have it sink.
