Veronica was up early, packing for her trip.
In some ways she was relieved to be getting out of town for a few days, after everything that happened over the weekend, she definitely needed the break.
Of course, she also felt slightly guilty over leaving Nadia while she was still recovering. Especially since Marty was still out of town. Well, she had asked Bel and Lucas to keep an eye on her and Nadia's new roommate seemed like a decent guy.
She finally managed to fit everything she wanted to take in her suitcase and realized that there were still a couple people she needed to share her news with, so she sat down and sent a couple of emails.
There were just two more things she wanted to take care of before she left town, but it was a little too early to do them just yet.
