East Attic - Pre Prom

After detention, Veronica came back to her room, took a shower and started getting ready for prom.

She was grateful that Piper had agreed to cook for her and Archie so they didn't have to worry about rushing after detention.

There were some butterflies in her stomach while she waited.

Archie sans icon as of yet had likewise come back from detention to shower and get dressed.

He paused outside the door to the East Attic and repeatedly attempted to straighten his collar before finally knocking.

Veronica opened the door with a grin. "Hey," she said, a little surprised that he wasn't in uniform. "You look nice."

[actingltcrumpet]

Archie inclined his head in thanks, offering Veronica a broad smile. "You look lovely yourself," he replied.

"Thanks, come on in," she said. "Piper cooked for us."

[actingltcrumpet]

"I don't think I've even met her," Archie said sheepishly as he stepped inside. "But now I'll have to thank her. Isn't she going to the prom herself?"

[marsheadtilt]

"Yep, but, unlike some of us, she didn't have detention today," Veronica pointed out with a grin.

[actingltcrumpet]

"This is true," conceded Archie, smiling. "It was still very kind of her, and saves us the trouble of finding a place in town -- especially since I didn't think to get reservations of any kind."

[marsheadtilt]

"Well, it was kind of hard to make reservations with that whole detentiong thing," Veronica said. "So, sit down, relax, you want something to drink?"

[actingltcrumpet]

Archie fidgeted a bit. "A glass of water might be nice," he said. Though really, he'd prefer something with a bit more kick to it, on the grounds that it might help him relax. It was a bit early for that, though . . .

Veronica got two bottles of water from the fridge and then pulled the food that Piper had prepared from the oven so they could eat.

Archie hadn't realized how hungry he was until he saw the food; his stomach gave an embarrassing growl and he flushed a bit. "Pardon," he mumbled.

[marsheadtilt]

"I haven't eaten much today either," Veronica confessed.

They ate their meal and Veronica left the dishes for later. They left for prom.
