As she finished typing up some reports for her very first case as an official FBI agent, Veronica noted the date and realized that it was exactly five years since she had started school at Fandom High.
The irony of her father sending her there for her safety after Aaron Echolls tried to kill her wasn't lost on her, even after all this time. She had gotten better about risking her life though. Mostly.
If anyone had told her five years ago that she would be married to Dick Casablancas and they would be living in a hotel with Logan, his boyfriend the vampire, a couple of witches and a demon (and Anders, but he was nothing special), she would have assumed they were on drugs.
She was pretty content with her life the way it was though and decided to bake a cake in celebration.
