"I was invited to spend the summer teaching in Fandom," she said.

He was slightly jealous; he'd kill to go back to Fandom again.

Veronica smiled. She was glad that he was excited and she was glad that it didn't seem like he was going to ask a bunch of questions.

"Yeah, I think it'll be a lot of fun."

"SAT Prep," she said. "I'm not sure how useful it will be, but I'm at least qualified to teach it."

"Oh, come on, it'll be plenty useful. People have to take the SATs. I probably should have taken a prep course." He totally sucked at the SATs.

He looked down at his coffee cup. "So you'll be out East the whole summer, huh?"

Dick smiled again. "Yeah. And Fandom's got the nifty portal thing. Might have to go out there and visit sometime. I hear Baltimore's cool."
