a condom in the sea
ok so im in maine...its nice weather, lovely beach and forests. i went for a walk in the sea today and i found a condom. i think its just funny its so random. anyway the seafood here is GLOOORIOUS and i love being by the sea again. i think some people just need some stuff, and the sea is one of them for me...it always can make me happy no matter what. so yeah, fucking awesome state...its by far my favourite state, like i always knew it would be. very picket fence. i wouldn't be suprised if i lived here for a while someday. i got to go into a lighthouse too! and we visited old ironsides, the oldest active ship in the navy...its been sailin for like 200 years. Ive been drinkin a lot with my parents too...its weird to have my dad do a beer run for me lol. Drunk on the docks is the way to be.
so today i saw a dude at our hotel counter in a sling. i asked him what happened, and he said that he was just serving in Iraq and some kid (a 15 year oldish) came up to him and stabbed him in the shoulder with a broken glass bottle. His back up shot and killed the kid, and it was a good thing too cause he had explosives strapped to him and was gonna kill them all. He got tired of that kinda crap so he got out and stationed in Maine to work at the hotel. I would too. In anycase, that wasnt the answer I was expecting...I thought he was gonna say something along the lines of "tripped on the hose" or whatever.
Speaking of terrorism, fucking terrorist! I am still a little worried about flying home from Boston, but I am glad we didnt go to London or Ireland like we almost planned. We decided itd be a waste of money for only a week. But in anycase, my dad was actually gonna buy tickets for Wed the 16th on United, which happens to be the date and airline the terrorists were gonna blow ten place to the US. I realise that even if we had gone to Britain it would have been foiled, just gives me the creeps.
Anyway movin into the apartment friday! Yeeeeehaw.
