Well, not the first part yet. I've been fluctuating 5-10 pounds a day on the scale here, so I'm going to go ahead and not take that seriously. It's been a hard as hell week on my body though.
I started a Sports Conditioning Program at the YMCA under the Koko SmartTrainer machine last week. Cost 60 samoleans, but looks like it should be worth it at the end. Though I wasn't impressed the first week with it since it left out many key areas/exercises (biceps, triceps, back, quadriceps, beach muscles), it's gotten progressively better since it had me start circuit training this week. Still lacks anything for the hips and a leg press, so I have to throw some other machines in to keep up my awesome calves, ha.
Monday: Circuit training and sports conditioning class @ work for a little
Tuesday: Hour of cardio on elipticals (Haven't done that straight-up for two years or so)
Wednesday: Circuit training and 30-min. abs/glutes class (that certainly stretched me out, ouch)
Thursday: 3 hours of volleyball, no breaks
Friday: Circuit training
I know, this is pretty pussy compared to XC back in the day, but it ain't easy with an oaf like me, but for all the better.
