I typed The End! Short story #89, 6500 words. Thankfully I managed to keep it out of novelette range. Been over it a few times on-screen, but just printed it off. A couple of days of picking away at it and then off to F&SF. I think I'll wait until I receive my "Didn't grab me" before posting that on ra_log, though. Hey, somebody has to keep the USPS afloat and help murder a tree.
[ETA: forgot to say that I wrote a poem today. My first. Oh, I wrote poetry years ago, and I've written song lyrics to dozens of songs that I played live when I was doing that sort of thing, but… Don't worry, I'm not going to get all melancholy on everyone and join the suicide brigade of modern poetry and grow a goatee. Especially not the goatee. ]
