[Rei is setting up the PCD, but accidentally turns it on before she means to. There is ink on her fingers and her calligraphy set is on her table, a small sheath of white paper ready to be inked.
A slight frown appears as she notices the red light and she fidgets with the video feed for a minute until the filter is in place.]

Sorry about that! Hey everyone! Ukitake already said something, but I thought I'd make an official invitation to anyone who thought they might want to go... Toushirou's birthday is coming up and seeing as an actual party would cause him to not come out of his house, I thought maybe we could all have dinner together at the Temple of Heaven instead. You can bring gifts for him if you want, or if you want to do that on your own time, that's good, too.
[And she pauses, wringing out her hands with a towel.]
Does anybody know what he wants for his birthday?
