[The PCD clicks on to show not Rei, but Mars, sitting on top of a roof, her legs crossed neatly, surveying the ground below her. She has a sizeable stack of snowballs next to her and her purple scarf is tied around her forearm
( Read more... )
[There's a particulaly small snowball heading straight towards Rei's back. It'll bruise due to the small size and surface area if it hits. Sebastian is no where in sight.]
[It's too bad that Mars can sense you, Sebastian, because she is on her feet as soon as the snowball connects, hissing to herself at the pain, but choosing to ignore it. Fire appears in her palm in a heartbeat.]
Show yourself.
[It's a snarl, underneath her breath, and her eyes scan her surroundings briefly, feeling his energy, should he move.
[The fire remains in her palm and she is impossibly tense, glaring at the demon.
She wants, so badly, to shoot her arrow straight through that smirking face of his. Mars never misses, but something makes her hesitate.
Ciel Phantomhive has never once ordered Sebastian to harm her and, for the time being, they're getting along. Killing his demon -- if that's even possible -- will only create a monstrous enemy out of someone who could potentially become an ally.]
What do you want.
[The statement is short, snappish, and to the point.]
Before stooping to pick up a snowball, tightly packed, and throwing it with a surprising amount of force, speed, and accuracy.
She is the resident sniper for the senshi and while Mars knows Sebastian is probably too fast for her to properly hit with a snowball, she is certain she can hit him with her arrow if he gets too uppity.]
[Sebastian's up for the challenge as he throws the snowball in hand to smack right into Rei's, cancelling it out in a big mush pile now laying on the ground. He only steps forward to counter her steps back but at other wise he keeps his distance.
His body bends just enough to pick up another clump of snow, hands rolling over each other to make an unnaturally perfect ball of snow, throwing it towards her with force and speed.]
[Mars creates a quick shield of flames on instinct, a modification of her Fire Soul, and once the snowball passes through it, the only hint it was even there is the spray of warm droplets on her face.
Mars darts forward, scooping up more snow, throwing three, four, five in a row.]
[He chuckles lightly, teeth raising to pull his love taunt]
And here I was being generous and sticking with only snow. As you wish.
[Sebastian had been moving at a slightly quick advantage for humans but if she was using fire Sebastian was going to use his own abilities. His body jerks to the left, suddenly not in the spot he was before with such demonic speed with enough time to veer out of the way of those snowballs]
[Good. This was working in her advantage. She needs to know how fast he is and how quick she needs to react in order to fight back when Sebastian inevitably comes for her, should Ciel leave Adstringendum.
She has an ofuda in her palm and no snowball. She's ready to play defense.]
[The demon's arm slings outwards towards her frame, though instead of a snowball, it's one of those particularly sharp knives. He doesn't aim it at her but at the fuda, hoping to catch it with the knife and snag it away from her. Question is, whether he can or if he'll catch her off guard just this once.
From his other hand repells another snowball, aimed towards her chest]
[Mars, at the flash of the knife, immediately pulls her arm towards her, to protect the talisman at all cost. The knife misses, sinking into the ground. Th senshi's gaze follows it, eyes slightly widened, and the snowball slams into her chest.
Damn it, those were beginning to hurt.]
Fine. Have it your way.
[And she backs up a step or two, activating the talisman with a hissed charm. Ready and waiting.]
[Why so serious, Mars. He chuckles and brings his hand up with a volley of more knives but doesn't throw them, instead licking over the edge of one slowly. Blood could easily be spilt with them, but he mustn't. It's only suppose to be a friendly little game so they'll disappear for now.
Instead he's picking up snow] Oh no, Hino Rei. This has been your way from the start. I told you I wouldn't take any hypocritical excuses when you're the one playing dirty. I'm merely using my tricks to get rid of yours.
[He chuckles a little and packs another snowball into his hands, whisking it at her a bit alarmingly fast. He's not aiming for any particular body part this time]
[Thwack. Right into her thigh. That's going to leave a lovely bruise. But Mars doesn't say a word of pain, stubbornly refusing to give Sebastian the satisfaction.]
No one has touched Ciel. And no one will.
[Mars, fate be damned, has actually grown to care for the stupid brat. No one will lay a finger on Ciel Phantomhive unless the idiot does something to deserve it.]

You crossed a line when threatening Negi, Sebby.]

Ah, good evening, Hino Rei.
[He licks his lips, having done far more than just threaten Negi. She can add intimindation and cornering to the list]

I'm afraid I do not understand your question. We are in the middle of a snowball fight and you have issued a challenge did you not?

[And now her tone is a snarl, the talisman in front of her, fully prepared to seal him if he makes one wrong move.]
I fight fairly against whatever is against me and the only thing I see before me is a demon who needs to be put on his place.
[She was willing to forget about you, push you aside, ignore your presence in Adstringendum. And then you threatened Negi.]
So unless you want to be sent to the Animus, leave me, and the people I care about, alone.

I can't. My young master is my first priority.
