I haven't talked about my life in ages. I'm not sure anyone cares? I'm not sure I care?

Ever since Christmas and my trip to Newfoundland I've been in a kind of iron-clad good mood. Nothing really is able to drag me down much, and if it does not for long. I don't know why this is. I think I just feel -- rejeuvenated or something? It's kind of wearing off now and I'm kind of back in my regular mood of kind-of-okay. But it's given me drive to maybe finish this goddamn year of University and get my degree and then maybe do something with it. Mostly I just know I miss Katie a lot and Claire and Newfoundland which I loved REALLY deeply. I think I'll be back in August, but with a car, and I want to see the rest of Newfoundland and not just St. Johns even though St. Johns is super cool.

School is poop.

I'm just about ready to get my tickets for Iceland. It's my graduation present from my parents, a 10-day long trip on my own (well, with Josh and possibly Adrian.) We're going to rent a car and tour the whole island kind of spontaneously, with no set schedule. I have no idea why I want to see Iceland so much. I mean, I know it's truly ridiculously beautiful. I guess I just like the extremity of the culture, the ridiculous foods they eat, the Scandinavian attitude they have, the strong ties they have with the Viking past. It's all pretty super cool and I'm really excited to visit it.

Reading week was nice. Went to Toronto for the car show and for ridiculous drinking with Adrian and Josh. Went to a bar with $3 shots of Jager. You can guess what happened next. The car show was great, though oddly my favourite part was not the super cars but hanging around the standard cars and critiquing them (or adoring them.) The two we hated most were the VW Beetle (horrific awful piece of shit adopted by people who seem to think they're cool cause it isn't a proper car shape) and the Chrysler Sebring (WHY WOULD ANYONE WITH A BRAIN IN THEIR HEAD BUY ONE, I DON'T GET IT.) I mean, we disliked a lot of other ones (the Nissan Cube is the single most retarded vehicle I have seen, ever.) But those two were just. Christ. We did a test for every car, that if we won one of the cars in a sweepstakes would we keep it or sell it. Those two cars didn't even require thinking. Sell sell sell.

However, I think our only unanimous favourite car was the Jeep Wrangler so take what we say with a grain of salt.

We also got to test drive some Mercedes-Benz. The E-class (okay but I'm too tall for it and the handling is kind of numb), the C-class (pretty good), B-class (awful), GLK (pretty good considering it's a huge SUV), and the Smart fortwo (amazingly fun under 45 km/h.) I can't believe they let me drive cars. In the snow. By the end I was deliberately powersliding Smart cars around the course which was way too much fun.

ENOUGH ABOUT CARS. Why can't I write interesting LiveJournal entries like Katie? Katie, teach me your magic ways.

I guess that's all I've got to say right now. Christ this was a boring entry I'll be surprised if any of you see it cause I'm really just thinking about deleting it now.

Okay. I won't. But I'm thinking about it.

Ahhh gotta press the button.

Delete it...

Also, I have a twitter. ginandjews. Stephen Fry is following me haaha. I don't actually update it though. I might one day?

SOMETHING MORE INTERESTING LATER I PROMISE??
