At the University of Ottawa, we have these History courses called "Selected Topics in History" -- courses that are taught using a Prof's expertise rather than a set curriculum. These courses can be anything; one of mine is History of Balkans. The second one, I am attending now.
Now, if you know me, you know I don't take kindly to the Green movement. I often rail against the propaganda involved, the fear mongering and vote buying at the expense of fact, research, and genuine scientific data. That being said, I hate Greenpeace, and I hate the Toyota Prius, and I hate anti-hunting groups and ELF and ALF and all that shit. I hate those mindless vegetarian who try to induce guilt trips about eating meat, PETA, and Paul motherfucking McCartney.
So, the second Selected Topics in History course?
A History of the Environmental Movement.
Jesus fucking Christ.
DROP COURSE DROP COURSE DROP COURSE.
EDIT: I dropped it and switched it for American History 1776-1880. I dropped it while I was in the actual class. Win?
